Pawotay Note:
This album was completely improvised; every session, every track, and every take - over the course of two years (1994-1996). Nothing was rehearsed or written down. There are flaws, rhythmic and melodic. But what artistic work does not have it's share of flaws.
There is an artistic term called a "Persian Flaw". I'm sure you have heard of Persian rugs; beautiful works of art created by the ancient Persians. The ancient rug makers would intentionally place a flaw in the rug, not noticeable to the average eyes. It proves that beauty exists in spite of it's imperfections. This album is the product of two life long friends and musicians who know each other way too well!!
