Senior teacher-holds at least a bachelors degree in music. Has played given instrument for at least 15 years. At least 8 years experience teaching music	$18.00/half hour
Group lessons available from senior teachers only. 45 minutes long, 2-6 students per group.	$15.00/45 min.
Associate teacher-at least 21 years of age with 8 years of study on  given instrument. Has had prior teaching experience and college level music training. Works under direction of a senior teacher.	$15.00/half hour
Student teacher-At least 16 years old. 6 years of study in playing given instrument. Works under the direction of a senior teacher.	$12.00/half hour

PAYMENT FOR LESSONS
Monthly payment is expected in advance at the first lesson of the month.  If two or more people from the same family receive lessons, or if the total amount due exceeds $120.00, payments may be made bimonthly. Necessary books and materials will be billed separately. 

STUDENT ABSENCE
Two make-up lessons will be granted every 12 lessons for excused absences (illness, family emergency, or religious observances). Athletic practice and events, school programs, doctors' appointments... are NOT considered excused absences and you will be charged the full lesson price. Lessons missed because of them will be made up at the discretion of the teacher. Missed lessons because of bad weather will be made up when possible.

TEACHER ABSENCE
If a teacher is unable to teach a lesson or a class, the student(s) will be notified and the lesson or class will be made up when possible.

The Music and Sound Company reserves the right to cancel classes that do not meet sufficient enrollment.
