HomeGrown Music is a subsidiary of The Music and Sound Company of DeKalb, Illinois. We are featuring our latest and most diverse samples. As this site grows, you will have access to every artist we have recorded and any independent artist who wishes to be a part of the HomeGrown community. We will provide each artist a web page consisting of MP3 downloads, pictures, performance schedules... Our goal is to have a diverse, extensive and quality array of bands, choirs, solo instrumentalists, books on CD, motivational speakers, folk groups, folk singers, Christian groups, percussion groups, comedians... The idea is intended to have people visit this site looking for a specific group. While they're here, we hope they check out some of the other talent we represent. We currently offer our marketing and promotion services to our recording, restoration and duplication customers. In order for our community to grow, however, we need to recruit the talent of local and national bands, musicians and lecturers.
Here's what you'll get by partnering with HomeGrown Music:
- General listing under your genre with a link to your custom web page
- A custom page that includes pictures
- A bio on you or your group
- A description and pictures of your CDs
- MP3 samples of your product
- Listing of your gigs and appearances updated monthly
- Booking information
- We do all the work marketing the site and your music.
- The value of others in a similar situation joining forces to achieve mutual success.
- Near Future - Direct sales over the web using Visa or Mastercard. We fulfill the order via mail, collect the money and send you your profits.
Send us an e-mail. In the body of the message, include information about yourself or your group. If you are a musician or a band, tell us about your style of music, venues you play, types of releases you already have and contact information (name, phone number, web site). It would be best if you send us an MP3 along with the above info. If you are an educator of any type, public or motivational speaker, interviewer or professor, tell us about your intellectual properties (lectures, interviews, speeches...) and contact information.
