Setup and Art Charges
Basic set-up using our templates and formats. Does not include art work, designs or changes. We offer MS word, Adobe Page Maker (eps file) and Photo Shop. PC format only. Customer supplies files. We will supply a print for approval before printing. You supply any needed changes or corrections and we will make a second print. If additional changes need to be made or if additional samples are to be printed, additional charges will apply.

Special packages available
Original design services, as included in the packages below, includes time in accordance with the specified package, sample prints, 4-panel book and tray liner. To use this service, you must purchase all CDs up to 1000 including printing/assembly from The Music and Sound Company. After 1000, you may use the services of another company if you choose. A royalty cost of .10/CD will apply, paid in 1000 piece increments (rounded up). This will apply if the art is used in whole, in part, or in concept.
Full Service Cover - 6 hours of design time using customer supplied art work or graphics from our large, stock art selection. Effects are applied creating a one of a kind custom look. The tray liner (back cover) will include a color fade out or gray scale version of the cover graphic. The inside of the booklet can include one graphic. CD is text only with your name and project name. Package includes up to 2 scanned images plus basic setup charges, sample proof prints and 1 revision. TOTAL COST $180.00
Standard Layout - 3 hours of design time, 2 page insert. Front cover includes your logo and a color picture. Tray liner includes color text only (song titles, group name). The inside cover includes credits and contact info in black and white. CD is color text only. Terms, conditions and extra fees (where applicable) may apply. TOTAL COST $180.00
Custom collages, advanced graphic design and concept design consulting is available on a fee for service basis, billed at an hourly rate of $40.00/hour. Free estimates and "not to exceed" quotes available.
**Conversion of designs for cassette use - $60.00

Reorders - With initial order of 100 CDRs, additional copies can be supplied 25 at a time at $5.48.
With initial order of less than 100 CDRs, additional copies can be supplied in any quantity at the listed price.
Actual quantity shipped of replicated (pressed) CDs will be +/- 10%. CDRs will be +/- 1%
Visual inequalities - We reserve the right to allow for slight variances within the same or different run.
Errors and omissions - We make every attempt to use correct grammar and spelling and to include all details requested by the customer. From time to time small details may slip through the cracks. Once samples are approved by the customer, we are not liable for rework costs.
Printing on the CD - Stated price includes printing coverage of 15% of the CD. Greater than 15% up to 60% coverage add $0.25. Greater than 60% coverage add $0.50.
